Combating terrorism is one of the most required yet difficult jobs for the United States homeland security and although the homeland security department tries their bet in order to find the best possible strategies to prevent terrorism. I think prevention and risk mitigation strategies are best for reducing terrorism because although it is a difficult job, it is not impossible. The risks of terrorism are man-made and thus, there is always a chance of humane errors and if the intelligence agencies can work collaboratively and keep a close eye on the suspicious activities then they can spot the risks and prevent them from happening.
